UM’s Finance program can provide the knowledge you need to keep your business venture (or anyone else’s) in the black. Our curriculum puts a strong emphasis on the principles of business finance, financial statement analysis, financial markets and institutions, investments, derivatives in risk management, and sound financial decision-making. Our security trading training provides students with hands on practice in real world trading.

Job Outlook
According to the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics employment of financial analysts is projected to grow 12 percent from 2014 to 2024, faster than the average for all occupations. A growing range of financial products and the need for in-depth knowledge of geographic regions are expected to lead to strong employment growth.
